Why rapeseed wax for your creations?
The advantages of rapeseed wax :
- Vegetable wax.
- Does not contain mineral paraffin (synthetic wax).

Rapeseed wax without traces of GMOs is not the easiest to work with but it allows you to obtain candles with a strong charm . It is therefore an aesthetic but also ethical solution. Rapeseed is a local product and grown on existing fields to give the soil time to regenerate between two crops.

Perfumes for candles and melts
Rapeseed wax for molded candles and scented pebbles can be used with any fragrance. It is recommended to choose good quality wax that will not alter the combustion of the wax. This will also ensure an optimal olfactory rendering.
The recommended dosage for candle fragrance is between 7 and 10% depending on the strength of the fragrance and your preferences.
The fragrance is incorporated when the rapeseed wax is between 75 and 80°C.
Filling the candle
The recommended pouring temperature for rapeseed wax is between 70 and 75°C, so it is very important to have a thermometer to check.
Choosing the wick
For canola wax for molded candles and scented melts , you should use a relatively thick flat wick, several sizes larger than wicks for other waxes. Cotton wicks are a very good solution.
The coloring
Candles with rapeseed wax support coloring very well.
You will find on our site a whole range of dyes to give beautiful colors to your candle. These are available in powder, liquid or shavings. It must be added in the heating phase of your candle, at at least 70 ° C, and mix well to ensure that the color is distributed evenly. If you also add perfume, it will be included at the end of this step.
Cooling the candle
It is very important that the candle cools quickly. Therefore, avoid leaving the different containers or molds too close to each other. All this can be done at room temperature.
