What are the differences between C3 wax from Europe and USA?
As its name suggests, this C3 soy wax from Europe was manufactured by Cargill in Europe. It is always a preferred choice for making scented container candles, but also here for melts. This is the major difference! Although this is possible with C3 USA, here, no additives are needed to achieve an optimal result.
Its properties guarantee flawless hold thanks to very good adhesion, because the wax from Europe has a greasy finish.
This wax in pellet form is however not suitable for making whipped wax according to our tests. We recommend the C3 from the USA, or the ready-to-use soy wax 4130 for this use.
C3 Europe Fusion Features
Optimize the quality of your candles by integrating 10% stearin into our soy wax, and pour the scented mixture at 75° for maximum efficiency. The simplicity of this method, requiring a single pour, will save you precious time. Thanks to its low melting point at 51°C , preparing your candle is as quick as it is easy.
C3 Europe wax is ideal for creating scented candles. Exceptional in the restitution of fragrances, it does not modify the aromas thanks to its olfactory neutrality. Its unique properties ensure clean combustion, producing a bright and vibrant flame for an unforgettable visual and olfactory experience.
European Soy Wax User Guide
Choosing the ideal fragrance
Choose our vegetable soy wax , perfectly suited to all types of scented oils. For an unforgettable olfactory experience, choose high-quality oils, specially designed for making candles. Using an unsuitable fragrance can alter the combustion and aroma of your creation.
When incorporating our essences into your candles, a dosage of between 7% and 10% of the weight of the wax is sufficient, depending on the chosen fragrance. A higher quantity may affect combustion.
Add the fragrance to the wax between 75 and 80°C while cooling for perfect fragrance diffusion.
Filling techniques
Melt your wax gently in a bain-marie without exceeding 90°C. The ideal melting point is around 51°C. Pour the preparation into your containers previously heated to at least 75°C to obtain an excellent candle.
Selection of wicks
Soy wax pairs ideally with TCR type wicks, selected according to the diameter of your container for optimal combustion.
Coloring your creation
Discover our varied selection of dyes available in powder, liquid or shavings to brighten your candles. Incorporate the dye at least 70°C during the heating of the wax and mix well for a homogeneous color. Add the fragrance oil last for a perfect mixture.
Cooling
After pouring, let your candle cool in the open air and rest it for 48 hours before using it. This patience will guarantee the quality and impeccable hold of your candle.
