Bekro granular dyes, ideal for easy incorporation and undisturbed combustion, require approximately 3g per 1kg of wax. Liquid dyes, on the other hand, offer intense coloring with only 15 ml per 1 kg of wax and are particularly suitable for paraffin wax. Marbling paints add an aesthetic effect to the surface of your candles. However, avoid mica powder, which can clog the wick. For optimal results, use stabilizers or stearin. Once you have chosen the wick for your candle, it is essential to know how to use it correctly for optimal combustion. To start, be sure to use stearin or beeswax with the wooden wicks to prevent them from going out. Make sure the braided strands are oriented correctly and use stands to keep the strands straight. Always center your wick and use sticky dots or sticky wax to adhere it to the bottom of the container. Trim the wick to 5-7mm before each use to avoid black smoke and large flames. If necessary, replace the used bit with a new one. Perform a burn test, observing flame stability, uniform wax melting, and correct wick orientation to ensure optimal performance of your candle.
