ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
This sweet fragrance “Bois de oud” will allow you to enhance your homemade creations.
All of our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse in Provençal France by master perfumers . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards.
No scent in our catalog is tested on animals.
Top notes open with bergamot and cistus, offering a bright and resinous entry. Bergamot, with its sparkling, slightly bitter freshness, brings a clear and invigorating opening, while cistus, with its warm, amber undertones, introduces complex depth from the start.
At the heart of the fragrance, safranal (a main component of saffron), Moroccan cedar, and tonka beans merge to create a rich, woody medium. Safranal offers a spicy and slightly floral touch, evoking the luxury of oriental spices. Moroccan cedar, robust and majestic, adds a woody solidity, while tonka beans, with their suave and slightly vanilla notes, bring an enveloping softness.
The base is dominated by tobacco, oud, patchouli, and vanilla. Tobacco and oud create a deeply woody and smoky base, rich in character and intensity. Patchouli, with its earthy, dark undertones, enhances the complexity of the fragrance, and vanilla, warm and comforting, provides a sweet and lingering finish, which soothes and enriches the entire composition.
To measure your creations, we invite you to carry out your own tests according to the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also differs for each perfume.
To incorporate this scent into your wax, we advise you to follow the dosage indicated on the product sheet as well as our guide on how to correctly dose your scented candles and melts.

Our blogNos parfums peuvent contenir des CMR (Cancérogène, Mutagène et Reprotoxique), mais ces taux (0,1% à 3,3%) concernent le parfum brut. Dans une bougie (10% de parfum et 90% de cire), la concentration est bien plus faible et sans danger dans des conditions normales d'utilisation.
Les CMR existent aussi dans notre quotidien : certaines huiles essentielles, le chlore des piscines et la viande grillée en contiennent sans être interdits. Ils jouent un rôle clé dans le rendu olfactif des parfums, et les supprimer altérerait leur qualité, mais aussi les possibilités olfactives.
Quant au phtalate d’éthyle, il est sans danger et couramment utilisé en cosmétique. Rien à voir avec les phtalates interdits dans les jouets !
Un parfum doit être stocké à l'abri de la lumière et à température ambiante (20°C). Dans ces conditions, vous pourrez conserver votre huile durant 24 mois, maximum. Si le parfum cristallise, il conviendra simplement de le chauffer à 30°C maximum.
Nous ne proposons pas d'échantillons. Le plus petit conditionnement est de 30 mL pour la plupart des parfums.
Vous pouvez cependant échanger vos points de fidélité contre le parfum en 30 mL de votre choix dans votre espace dédié.
