This 100% soy vegetable wax is primarily suited for scented container candles (C3) to achieve an optimal surface result. It is an excellent solution for making your own poured and scented candles, offering many advantages.
Its versatility allows it to be used in almost all cases, but it often requires the addition of additives such as stearin or beeswax to achieve optimized results!
For this reason, we recommend blending this wax with 10% stearin and pouring it with fragrance at 75°C for container candles.
It is also possible to use this wax for making wax melts, including 5% beeswax. However, the result will not be equivalent to waxes composed of olive or rapeseed.
For successful whipped dessert-style candles, C3 from Cargill is the best option. You will enjoy a result that retains a creamy and smooth texture once cooled.
To top it all off, this soy-based vegetable wax enables you to contribute to the success of your massage candles. We suggest adding 20% coconut oil for a silky texture and shea butter, known for its nourishing properties.
The perfect combination for a cozy, relaxing moment!
We recommend blending this soy wax with 10% stearin and pouring it with fragrance at 75°C. During candle production, a single pour is sufficient, saving time! Its melting point at 51°C also allows for easy and quick handling, as it is quickly reached.
If you wish to scent your candle, this wax is particularly recommended. It provides excellent fragrance throw and does not alter the scent, as it is odorless itself. Its specific properties ensure a beautiful, vibrant flame throughout the candle's burn time.
This C3 soy wax is ideal for creating container and scented candles! It works perfectly with all types of containers, whether glass, ceramic, or metal materials (such as aluminum).
Our C3 soy wax for container candles is plant-based, biodegradable, and not tested on animals.
During combustion, your soy wax candle will not emit any odor unless you add a candle fragrance.
This soy-based vegetable wax can be used with any type of fragrance oil, but we recommend choosing high-quality oils specifically designed for this purpose. A lower-quality fragrance or one not intended for candles could affect the candle's burn and may not provide optimal scent throw.
If you use our candle fragrances, do not exceed 7% to 10% fragrance depending on the chosen product. Higher concentrations are unnecessary and could also disrupt the burn.
For optimal scent diffusion, incorporate the fragrance into the wax between 75°C and 80°C during the cooling phase.
Slowly melt the wax in a double boiler and do not exceed 90°C. The melting point is around 51°C. Pour your containers with the scented oil at a minimum of 75°C to ensure a perfect candle.
With soy wax, we recommend TCR-type candle wicks, selected based on your container's diameter.
You will find a range of dyes in our shop to give your candle vibrant colors. These come in powder, liquid, or flake forms. Add them during the heating phase of your candle, at least at 70°C, and mix well to ensure even color distribution. If you also add fragrance oil, it should be included at the end of this step.
Once the pour is complete, allow the candle to cool at room temperature, and let it rest for 48 hours before use. This will ensure the candle sets perfectly!
